Our Story
Masala King was born from a simple idea: bring the warmth and authenticity of a traditional North Indian home kitchen to the heart of New York City. Our family has been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, learning, perfecting, and sharing the recipes that have been passed down through generations.
When we opened our doors in Midtown Manhattan, we wanted to create more than just a restaurant. We wanted to build a space where people could escape the pace of the city, sit down with loved ones, and enjoy food made with the same care and attention we'd give to our own family.

Food Philosophy
We believe great Indian food starts with quality ingredients and respects tradition. Our spices are freshly roasted in-house daily. Our tandoor oven has been burning since day one, giving our naan that distinctive, irreplaceable char. Every biryani is assembled by hand, layer by layer, the way it's been done for centuries.
